- Always remember that nothing can help the appearance of your carpets more than regular vacuuming and regularly scheduled carpet cleaning.
Spot Removal:
- First - determine what the stain is, if possible.
- Remove as much of the excess by wiping or scraping it up.
- Blot up as much of the moisture as possible by applying pressure to the area using paper towels or a clean white cloth.
- Apply the appropriate spot remover as directed. (Do a test for color fastness in an inconspicuous area. Closets are good choices.)
- Always work toward the center of the stain so you do not spread it.
- If spot is old, (dried), or a large area, we recommend you call a professional- (Available Carpet Care). Reason: By working on difficult stains/spots yourself you can set the stains/spot or cause permanent damage to the carpet.
